Hi everyone, I'm panicking because my female zebra finch is on her death bed. She has ripped the feathers out around her leg, while has a lump that's bloody and bleeding. I gave her antibiotics and pain meds and thought she would be okay because she seemed fine after. 2 weeks later and now as I write this I found her at the bottom of the cage with her mate covered in blood (mates white) and my heart shattered to a million pieces. I'm keeping her warm in a blanket. How can I save her? I love her dearly and am desperately trying to come up with a way to save her life. Please help. She's doing a tiny bit better now that's she's warmed up but I don't think that will last long.
