I’ve tried getting them slowly used to each other. Nothing seems to work. My foster cat who I’ve grown attached to absolutely will not leave my room. I’ve tried leaving the door open, taking her out of the room and not letting her back in, slowly introducing her outside of the room, but still nothing seems to work. Even if I put my other animals in a different room, she just hates going outside my room. She grew up in a construction zone and watched all of her littler including her mom get killed by the construction workers. Luckily someone decided to pick her up and save her. Now she’s with me. No one had wanted her. I’ve tried desperately to get her adopted. Now I don’t think that’s an option. She has lived in my room for a YEAR. I’ve moved her litter box and food outside of my room. She would rather starve than go outside my room. It’s extremely difficult to keep her outside my room because she easily sneaks past my legs whenever I have to go into my room. I know I probably didn’t start out the way I should, but she was just so frightened of everything. I thought after a couple weeks I could start introducing her to my cats. One of my cats HATE her. Ironically her name is sweetie. She attacks my cat with no warning. She will be sitting still, talk completely still, ears perked up, then all of a sudden she full on jumps on my cat and shows her no mercy. I’ve gotten injured multiple times pretty badly from this. At this point I do not know what to do. My dog which is extremely old and acts like a puppy, not at all trained goes after anything that runs. If my cat were to just walk past him he wouldn’t do anything to her. When she runs the only thing he does is chase her, won’t attack or anything. My cat has attacked him out of complete fear. She’s not the brightest and I’m pretty sure she can’t tell the different between my three other animals. If anyone can help that would be extremely appreciated!!
