I'm keeping my eye out for a new pet at the moment and I've noticed several dogs for sale in the $300-$500 range. These are not pure bred or puppies. I can adopt a a shelter dog for much less and I'm assuming that because they are selling an adult dog, the dog is an inconvenience for them. So why try to make money off of the sale? Am I missing something?
