So I've got two cats.
One of them is a really chill-pill cat, comes allways to me to cuddle, can even stroke his belly. He's a really chill-out and friendly cat.
The other one is the complete opposite. He is very attached to my wife, fawns very, very rarely (mostly when I've been away for a long time) but this asshole is snapping, growling and even scratching at me.
I tried to bribe him with treats, but after months with no results I just excluded him when I give out treats (so only the chill-out cat gets treats now),
tried to teach him that growling at me is a bad idea with a water-pistol (made it worse), tried to play more and even play the "dominant-game" with leather gloves and really playing with him until he is fed-up.
Also he is jumping on kitchen-tables when we aren't around, he obviously knows thats a bad idea, since he runs away (snarling) when I enter the kitchen.
MY THEORY is:
Both cats aren't allowed into the bedroom when its sleep-time, 'cause they create havoc, destroy figurines, chew on mousepads, play/scratch cables (weirdly enough, only in the bedroom!)
So every evening I bring them out. The asshole cat is very displeased by that, tries to run away and hide behind desks, but in the end he loses and needs to leave the room.
I am not sure, but I think that has to do something with it.
What can I do?!
I am really, really fed up with this cat by now.
It starts to make me very angry and stressed out.
