Help my turtle might be dying and I don't have money for a vet!

English is not my first language. I have a red ear slider .It's skin is falling off .I found a huge chunk in her aquarium.It is not shedding it's skin . I know because the chunk left a big white/seetrough hole/space.It had brown spots on her "hands" before this and they soon started to disappear. So I thought it was healing, than I found this.I don't have money for a vet and neither do my parents.Tell me how to help her just a little bit before I get some money. She doesn't seem to be in pain and there is no blood. Please...HELP
