I recently moved into a rental in which the prior tenant apparently had cats and, well, needless to say, I don't think there was much care in cleaning up their messes. Most of the offending stink is gone but there is still that lingering "pet" smell.
So far I plan on scrubbing the floors (and possibly walls) with a vinegar/baking soda concoction, as well as maybe investing in an air purifier. Incense, candles, and homemade essential oil sprays will also be used as backups. Does anyone have any other suggestions that may help?
