If you pet my roommates cat for more than 3 seconds it will bite or claw you every time. I hate this behavior. We are nothing but nice to this cat but this behavior makes me think this cat was abused early in life.
I’m worried that if I get a kitten it will learn this behavior. Is this a behavior that can be learned? If I get a kitten do I keep it away from the older cat? Or should I simply be always gentle and kind with my kitten and hope she never learns this?
