Hi all. My cat peed on my mattress for the first time a few weeks ago; it was my fault for closing her into my room while I was sleeping. I used both an enzyme cleaner and an Arm & Hammer foam cleaner the same day, but it seemed like they more or less mixed smells with the urine. I waited a few days and picked up more of the Nature's Miracle cleaner, then applied a generous amount on the spots last night. It took almost all of the urine smell out but added a LOT of gross fragrance, so now my bed more or less smells like a urinal cake.
Does anyone have product recommendations to get the cleaner smell out of my mattress? I'm moving across the country this summer and was planning on waiting until I moved to get a new mattress shipped to my new apartment because I don't want to have to get a Uhaul to bring it with me (plus I'm trying to save as much money as possible before my trip). It's a nice mattress with a pillowtop, so I can't flip it over. The accident was on one side of the bed so the cleaner smell is confined to that side (of course it was the side I sleep on), but I can still smell it when I wake up. It's making me nauseous and I can't live with it until July/August.
