Steps to reduce or eliminate cat vomiting?

My cat keeps throwing up food about once or twice a week for at least a year now. I've taken her to the vet of course but nothing seems to be physically wrong. All the blood tests and an ultrasound came back normal. All they do is give her a quarterly shot of a medicine that reduces stomach inflammation.

I've tried different foods they've suggested and that hasn't worked either. She will even throw up novel protein and hydrolyzed protein foods. I've tried both wet canned food and dry foods - she likes the wet food more but throws that up more than the dry food.

I'm thinking the next step is both portion control and making the process of eating slower by using a slow/puzzle feeder bowl.

She maintains her weight and always eats, drinks water, and uses the litter box without anything obviously being wrong.

My cat is a rescue from the shelter and has a ton of anxiety issues. She is only affectionate with me when I am at the same level as her (sitting on the couch, lying down). If I am walking around she runs away from me. She doesn't want to be picked up or go onto my lap ever. I tried the feliway plug-in diffuser but I didn't notice any change in behavior after 30 days.

Am I missing anything else?
