My cat (2 years old) was never clingy when he was a baby, he would usually chill in a corner and refuse to be held and hugged. Now that he's grown up, he's incredibly clingy. He would howl when I'm in the bathroom or in any room, even when I'm sleeping. Whenever I leave the house, he would howl and scratch the furniture. He always looks scared of something and keeps on staring and meowing at our ceiling. He always looks spooked. He has a sibling now but he's still clingy and wants attention all the time, which I can't give because I still have to do work. I'm not sure what I should do because our neighbors are already complaining about the howling.
(He has lots of toys and I play with them at 6am when I leave for work and 6pm when I got home. I give him all my attention in the weekends.)
