Hi, I have an 8 week old kitten named Bentley and I got him at four weeks old. Apparently he was found at a farm abandoned with no mom or litter mates around so I took him in from the family friend who found him. I know nothing of his background. He's a very healthy kitten, eating a ton and now weighs 2.3lbs. he just received his first set of vaccinations. I googled about these two viruses and am very nervous that he may have one as it's likely his mom was a stray. I've gotten a lot of information and it seems pretty rare at around 3% for both. Is it likely he will be virus free or should I still be concerned? I do have an 8 year old cat that is fully vaccinated that he lives with. He did have a little ringworm when found that has cleared up with medication and has shown no signs of illness. I'm just having a bit of anxiety regarding his health, they told me we can get him tested at his next appointment.
