My dog is a 4 year old min pin mix. He has always been the sweetest thing. He does get intimidated around new people, especially men, but he has never snapped at someone. I took him to the vet this morning for shots and a check up. When my vet went to put the thermometer up his little butt he started to yelp like he was being hurt then turned and snapped and the vet (her). I don’t know if I should be concerned by this behavior or not. I don’t want him to develop these habits. I want him to feel safe. Any suggestions on what to do?
