Ok, I don’t really know how to put this... When I was younger we used to go to my uncles place a lot, he was involved with some pretty messed up people but he was at his mates car dealership place where my dog (Lucy, F, Unsure of age but at least something over 55 or maybe even 60 idk dog years but mum said something) was trembling under a car, my uncle got her out and starting holding her as she was quivering in fear, to the point where she would literally pee herself... my uncles friend said that they found her in a newspaper advertisement and they took her, that’s when they found out she had been getting abused, she would never go near men and if a man came up to her she would run away and literally pee herself on the spot, she did that once on our new couch... but my uncle said that he will take her, long story short my mum went over to his house and Lucy came straight up to her and sat on her lap (Lucy is a boxer/staffy or something-I’m no dog expert so correct me if I’m wrong and don’t be too harsh lol) my uncle and my cousins were surprised af as if that were the first time she had ever gone up to a human like that, so long story short we took her to our house, she was fine getting into the car but getting out was a nightmare, she wouldn’t budge until she saw the cat and they instantly clicked... we have had people come over and she is getting better with people, but there is something that happened this morning that really shocked me (this is Atleast 3 or 4 years later)... I woke up to Lucy sleeping but basically shaking in fear, acting as if she was getting hurt with the sound that dogs give whenever they get injured... I quickly woke her up and she quickly got up, her breathing was really messed up, like as if her voice went really deep and she came up and lay on my arm with her back basically against my chest, she was still breathing harshly too and also groaning... I’m really scared tbh... This has never happened like this...
