I adopter a litter of 4 very young foster kittens. I had to suffer through two of their deaths from illness from the shelter over time despite as much veterinary care as possible. This absolutely wrecked me and I wasn’t sure I could continue as the others were also sick. I have spent almost all my time with the last two when I’m not at work and they’re very happy, healthy, and thoroughly attached to me. He’s not had to do anything, I never asked for or wanted help. Now that it’s time for them to be adopted I decided I’m going to adopt them after the shelter does their last vetting procedures. I had already named them once I got them, one is male and one is female and my husband decided he’s simply not going to accept the name I gave my male kitten because it’s a girls name (siren). He’s going to name it “vision”.
I told him to fuck off and call him whatever he wants but that’s not his name. I think this is more of a rant, I don’t even know if it’s allowed. But I was wondering if it’s even worth arguing with him.
