How to get rid of nature's miracle terrible smell?

I had to use nature's miracle on a brand new couch to cover up a dog pee smell. I got advice from a pet shop that nature's miracle foam product was the way to go.

I followed the instructions. I tested it on a hidden part of the couch to see if it would cause discoloration. I then saturated the pee area with the foam. Didn't touch it, i let it soak in and dry. Let the magic work. Went to bed. Woke up to a headache inducing chemical smell. It's in the entire apartment. That was 3 days ago. No improvement.

I can't telling it worked, as the smell is maddening. But as the website tells.me, it'll keep smelling as long as there is pee to remove. Thing is, even the hidden test area, with absolutely no pee on it, smells like death.

So please Reddit, please pet owners who suffered the same ordeal, how did you get rid of that atrocious smell? Time? Baking soda? Another product? The couch is 2 weeks old and warranty is now voided because of pet urine. I'm not getting a new one. I'm not making the pet owner, a long time friend who was visiting, pay for it. I need a solution for the chemical smell please
