What is your opinion on keeping a bird as a pet in a cage? To myself I feel it's cruel and that if given the opportunity the bird would move around and check out its environment if it were't clumped in a cage. My friend on the other hand argued they have been bred like this for ages to live in cages and don't really know any better; we have bred them to live this life so it's just the norm to them? What is your opinion? To me I can't help but see birds in cages sitting there all day staring in their mirror as highly depressing.
