Hey everyone, I don't know how big of an issue this actually is, but it has left me very confused in our search for a solution.
The title pretty much sums it up, my family's cat refuses to eat any sort of cat food other than that of this one specific brand. This usually wouldn't be a problem and hey, at least there's something we can be sure she'll actually eat, but I've heard mostly negative things about the brand - mostly that their products include sugar as well as grain. Pet store employees as well have told us about this and encouraged us to try different things.
Honestly though, at this point I don't even remember how many different kinds of food we've tried, she never eats it. If it's something with sauce, she'll lick off the sauce and leave the actual meat, otherwise she'll go straight to the dry food or won't eat until you give her something else.
Right now we're trying to mix a little bit of other food into the Whiskas stuff everytime and it works somewhat okay, but she definitely notices and is not too happy about it either.
Hell, I have no clue what they put in their products. I don't know how common this is, but does anyone have idea on what's going on here/what we can do/if we should even do anything or just accept her specific taste?
