I have a 5 year old male cat. He weighs around 8,5 kg (18,5 lbs). I realise it's way too much, so I want to help him lose weight. The cat eats dry food (Purizon Adult Sterilised) and wet food (Animonda Carny), they are I think good brands, not filled with grains and fruits. I give him less food than for his weight. He is an indoor cat and he will play with toys for 5 minutes until he loses interest. I bought him a ball that he has to roll to get food from inside but he doesn't understand how to use it. He has been castrated around 2 years ago and I have him for 8 months.
What else can I do to try to help him lose weight? I'm out of ideas.
