Gnats in house. Cat newly spayed. Concerned.

Hello. I just got my cat spayed around four days ago and have noticed some gnats in my house for about two of those days. I am afraid of gnats laying eggs in her incision site that's still in the process of healing. Her litter box is in the back room with her next to her bed (so she can step into it easier). I've been keeping her back there while she heals so she can be away from my hyper kitten and from places she can jump onto. I don't know if her litter box or even her dry food would attract the gnats and increase the possibility of eggs/maggots getting into her incision...? Is this a valid concern?
