Hey all
I recently, finally, managed to get my 13 year old dog back. He's a proper mutt, but I owned his parents and he's been my baby since the moment he was born.
Sadly, he's inherited some issues his dad had in his old age. His teeth are much weaker than they used to be, and he has male pattern baldness running from his butt and back legs to about his front shoulders.
He's also always been noisy (most likely due to the fact that my parents tried to get me to train him when he was younger, and I was 7 with no idea how to train a dog), but for the sake of him staying with me he NEEDS to learn to hush. He is pretty quiet when he's inside, but at the moment we're waiting on his appointment with the cleaners and barring off certain areas.
How can I make him more comfortable with his teeth and bald spots, and how do I teach him to be quiet when we put him outside?
