I saved my dear Phoenix on the 10th of February this year, she was an abandoned hunting pup and I instantly fell in love with her. She almost didn’t make it the first week, but being the fighter she is she made it through. It was really tough, but around 3 months ago, in august, she was fully trained, eating well and sleeping through the night finally. Then she came in heat and how bad it was, for both her and me. So we decided to get her neutered. On the 29th of November, this very Black Friday, while the vet was making sure she was fast asleep, she passed away. We don’t know if he gave her too much, if she was too weak still from her rough passed. All I know is that I have lost the best thing that happened to me, my reason to live.
Can anyone help me to get over this grieve, but more importantly, this awful guilt?
