Sentry/Hartz flea medicine is killing my cat.

My sister bought my cat Sentry flea medicine (the topical kind) 10 days ago, and he’s in really rough shape.

I took him to the emergency vets office and they gave him some medicine for nausea and they wanted to run tests that would be around 500/700 dollars to do. And those are just the tests. I don’t have the money to have the tests done, or the treatment he would need so I’m just trying to figure out what to do.

He’s not eating, any time he drinks any water he throws it back up, he’s losing LARGE clumps of fur and throwing those up too. he can’t hold anything down and is throwing up at least once a day, today it’s been 3 times.

Does anyone else have any experience with this flea medication and this happening to their pets? I want to call Sentry and scream at them until they agree to pay for me to take him in so he can get the help he needs. I’m so heartbroken and terrified, I’ve had my little guy since he was a newborn and needed foster care. I’m just at the end of my rope so i’m reaching out everywhere I can to get advice or help. I don’t know what else to do.
