Cat with FLUTD blockage, incontinent/keeps dribbling pee after 2 catheters.

Our cat was diagnosed with FLUTD after a blockage on Saturday. He was straining to pee and kept licking his penis for half the day and we brought him to the vet. They put in a catheter to clear his bladder. They found crystals in his bladder and put him on a urinary S/O diet, Meloxicam/Metacam, and 1-2 drops of Tramadol (100mg/ml) (2 times a day), and Pratziol/Prozosin (half tablet 2xday).

The next day he was still blocked and we brought him back to drain his bladder. The vet said it went in easily, indicated that there was no blockage. We brought him back and over the next 3 - 4 days, he still cannot pee, but manages to dribble out a small coin size (a silver dollar size) drabs of pee when he's just lying down, or after he licks his penis - which is very often. He is generally still really lethargic and tense, and zones out (clearly very stoned) after the tramadol (we decided to reduce the dose from 2 drops to 1 drop once a day). He is eating well, but unfortunately poops himself instead of making it to the litter bin.

Can we expect his incontinence to improve, or do we need to bring him back for a catheterisation again for 2-3 days? Is it time for a PU?
