I always wanted a pet. My mother is allergic to cats, and my dad won't let us have a dog. The only options left are hamsters, rabbits, or chinchillas ( we thought of parrots too, but my dad is allergic to parrots ). I'm wondering, would a chinchilla be a proper pet? I want to know what it takes to have a chinchilla and if it's worth it. Thanks!
