Hi r/pets, hoping to get some guidance. First let me start by saying that I am taking my kitty to the vet but I was hoping to get some ideas of what this issue might be before I go. So I have an almost two-year old kitty named Kermit. He's been a great cat and has so far had no health issues. I was petting him the other day and noticed a long, raised bump on the back of his hind led. It was sort of fleshy and long. Almost like a raised keloid. When I look at it it looks kind of like it might be some kind of rash but it's long and runs the length of his hind leg. No blood and hair is growing on it. He doesn't act like it hurts him and he's eating and drinking like normal. I've googled everything I can think of and nothing looks or sounds like what it is. Has anyone else had this issue with their cat? Any ideas what it could be? It's long and raised but fleshy. It's very odd. His poop looks normal, eyes are clear. No other apparent issues. Would love to hear what you guys think!
