Our dog rolled in some poop outside tonight that was not hers. She has never done this before. I brought her in right away to get her in the bath and our cat hissed and batted her. They always get along so this was really weird. After the bath the dog is trying to interact with the cat and it is hissing and making noises I've never heard before and being very defensive. Obviously I will need to keep them separate for a while but I hope it's only temporary.
I am starting to think she rolled in cat poop and now my cat feels threatened by the smell of another cat? Kind of an odd situation but anyone ever run into this?
