I am looking for some advice with an issue with our 3 resident cats, one male (4 years old) and two females (5 years old). The male is a kitten of one of the females, and the females are sisters. They are all indoor only cats, as the two females were re-homed to us as such due to them suffering some pretty severe abuse at the hands of whoever owned them last.
The issue we are facing is the male cat is constantly stalking, harassing and attacking one of the female cats (Not his mother), the two have never completely seen eye to eye but have kept a fairly neutral attitude towards each other. In the last year he has really ramped up the aggression and degree to which these attacks are happening, and to put it simply we are at a loss.
We have tried everything we can think of at this point including, re-introduction, behavioural therapy, food changes, house re-organisations, food / water bowls & litter trays spread apart around the house, anxiety medication & supplements, playing with him for long periods multiple times a day, new foods, taken him to the vets to check for any other possible cause but he's in good health, feliway, and he's been neutered when he was a kitten, ect.
To be honest, I'm really not sure what to do at this point apart from looking to re-home him, which would completely crush my heart but at this point it just isn't fair on the female cat having to live in constant fear. Apologies for the long post.
