wet cat food that no controversies exist about

I have a 1.5 male cat that weighs about 9.5 lbs. I've been feeding him Orijen Regional Red dry food. I trust this brand and my cat seems to like it. However, recently I decided to give him more wet food. He seems to really like Blue Buffalo tuna flaked recipe a lot. I was thinking that Blue Buffalo was on a higher-end but I now doubt it due to lots of controversies about this brand on the web. He also started vomiting every two weeks or so since I started giving him wet blue buffalo but seems always fine though. I think this might be due to overeating but I'm not sure. I want to stick to a brand that everyone trusts, even if it costs me a premium but I'm not able to find one since there're so many options out there. What would you suggest?
