Tldr; same as title, he chews his arms while purring extremely loudly
Hi all!
I got a little black kitten about a week ago. He is a dream, and is adjusting super well.
When he is on a soft surface (couch pillow, bed, folded blanket), he starts purring VERY loudly and chewing on his forearms. I cover one up (he goes for the right one), and he moves to the left one. It doesnt happen when we are cuddling on the floor and he is purring down there.
I think it's behavioral but I dont know what to do. Can't really afford cat xanax at this point in my life. If anyone has any pointers I'd really appreciate it.
He jumps in bed with me and does it all night, I wake up and try to stop him all night. His arms look fine right now, but the chewing can go on for a while if I dont stop him, so I'm worried to let this go on too long.
