How Do I keep my house disinfected in a pet friendly way?

Apologies if I am posting in the wrong sub.

We are dog-sitting at the moment because our friend is unable to travel at the moment due to Covid restrictions.

Am wondering how to keep the floors disinfected without hurting the dog?

I’ve learned that vinegar is not strong enough to kill viruses like Covid-19, but dettol is toxic.

Help?
