Cat Adoption in the Time of Corona...

Okay, so this might sound silly, BUT: My boyfriend and I live in NJ, which is a very hard-hit state. I lean higher risk, having congenital cardiac history, so we've been on fairly strict lockdown for about six weeks. We've gotten all our groceries delivered, keep things in the garage overnight when possible, wipe everything down before it comes in the house, etc., AND the rescue we're adopting from will also be delivering the cat! (They originally wanted to meet in PetSmart but after I explained the situation super generously offered to deliver. The alternative was someone picks her up for us.) Now, the woman I spoke to said we'll wear gloves and masks for the handoff, we'll bring the cat inside, and then bring the carrier down to her, which seems fine. Would it be silly to give our new cat a bath immediately/within the first day?

I also have cleansing wipes (for cats, don't worry) I could also wipe her down with, and I've read you can improvise with a damp towel and a very very small amount of white vinegar, but that's definitely plan B or C. She'll be going from her foster, to PetSmart, to the woman who will be delivering her, to our home within a matter of a few hours, so she'll have a lot of contact with various people. She's also been living with a bunch of other cats and kittens at her foster's place, so even if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic I'd probably bathe her soonish anyway, just to freshen her up a bit.
