hello! i just recently got a 2month old dachshund puppy (female). i have a 4 year old dorkie (dachshund yorkie mix, male) who leaves the new puppy alone. i also have a 1 year old cat , who is very 'catlike'. she loves to chase things and hunt birds, and when she first met our new puppy she wrapped her teeth around her throat. she didnt bite down, but we stopped her before we could even see if she would. we have left them together while supervising, and the puppy gets very excited when she sees the cat. she wags her tail, and cries when she leaves. she even wants to sleep with her. my cat licks her and bites her, and she rolls around with her. she also sneaks up on her and 'attacks' her. almost everytime she does this, it ends in her biting her throat. she doesnt bite down, but on the skin. i can not leave them alone together because im afraid my cat will kill her. does my cat think my puppy is a rodent? or is she being motherly towards her? i need help! (my cat is VERY sweet and doesnt attack humans or anything)
