3 days ago, my dog who I love very much vomited up the corpses of two baby bunnies. The next day when he was let out into the yard I witnessed him looking through bushes and sticking his nose into the hole where the bunnies lived. I am having a lot of trouble dealing with this. I know that he is an animal who does not possess human moral codes but every time I see him I just think of their tiny bodies. He swallowed them whole and they were still very visibly baby animals. I can barely look at him and I haven't touched him since. I am not the primary caretaker of him and the rest of my family has still been interacting with him normally so he is not being neglected. I just want to know how to get over this so that I can have a normal relationship with my dog again.
