My boyfriend brought home a 5 month mel puppy, I already have a 10 yo Great Pyrenees, 6 yo toy poodle, and a recent addition, a 2 1/2 yo great pyre. They don’t get along with each other at all, bark aggressively at each other. Other then that he’s v v sweet with my son and me. My boyfriend had them all tied up and said they needed to just bark it out and get used to each other, I just took this for face value. How long does it take for dogs to get used to each other? And what’s some things I could do to help them out? I’ve gotten all my older dogs blankets and stuffed them into the pups cage to see if maybe smelling them would help some.
