Heyyy. Well, I'm a 16yo student. Me and mum, have been thinking of adopting a stray dog for a while now. We both think that a dog would bring life into the house. My dad doesn't seem to be happy about it and neither does my brother. We found a little dog the other day, waiting to get adopted, so we are discussing whether we can get it or not. Keep in mind that I will be the one most responsible for taking care of it, walking it etc. The problem is, I don't know if I'm ready for something like that. Now in quarantine there's plenty of time, but when school starts I might be under lots of pressure. I also find a hard time waking up in the morning, which might make walking it at that time a bit of a hustle? But I haven't found a good reason to happily wake up early sinxe now... A new member of the family could change our lives for good. The question is, what should I do? I really feel like I need a dog in my life, it like a part of me missing. However, as I said, I will have to take care of most daily responsibilities, which is fine, but I want to consider every aspect before making the final decision. I want it to be a responsible one, as we have to do with a living being..
