Sooo I want to get an Orange Box Turtle. Any other turt people with any advice for me? I'm out in Minnesota if that affects their behavior or health.

Basically, the title says most of it. However, there are a few additional questions: if you have a box turtle, how did you get him/her? Should I be worried about salmonella? What is it like to own a box turtle?
