Hello all,
I commonly work in the office in my house and my SO likes to work in the living room (which is separated by a doorway). I've noticed that her cat (male, neutered, almost 2 years old) doesn't like us being in separate rooms. He will consistently meow and scratch on the carpet (which generally seems to be what he does when he's stressed out) and I've noticed he calms down when I come into the living room. We try to give him consistent playtime every day (5 minute play sessions about 3 times a day) but he still seems anxious. It's not too big of an issue but sometimes it can become troublesome if I'm in a meeting at work or something. He's also the type of cat that doesn't like a door being closed that he can't access.
Anyone experience anything similar and how did you resolve/help it? Any help is greatly appreciated!
