I tried the Vet's Best spot on treatment last week but it didn't work. Also, I've read a lot about brands like Seresto causing chemical burns and allergic reactions. What would be the best way to safely get rid of fleas on my cat? And what should I do to my home to ensure that she won't just keep getting reinfected from the environment? She has long thick fur so would it be okay to shave her so that I can spot the fleas easier?
