A few days ago my mom bought new couches for the living room. It’s turns out the material that the couch is made of attracts my cat. My cat likes to scratch the couch. So because of this I bought a scratching board and a mouse toy for my cat.
Turns out my cat still scratches the couch. So now my mom is PISSED. She thinks the only solution is to give my cat more toys. So she made my dad buy another scratching board for the cat.
The board will arrive in about a week. During the meantime, what can I do to get my cat to stop scratching the couch. He already has a scratching board that has catnip inside, so he is attracted to the board.
