Jealous Cat

I need help. I have a cat named Bandit who's been the only animal (other than my dog, but they're best buddies) for her whole life.

As of today, I found a stray kitten, about eight weeks or so, and decided to keep her. I introduced them, and at first it went kinda fine. Bandit acted scared, having not been around a small kitten after her brothers were adopted out.

I let them meet again earlier in the day, and Bandit went nuts. When she saw her, she started to bat at her, (claws out) hiss, and growl.

They're in the same room, but Bandit is being protective of her cat tree, and randomly goes to said sleeping kitten and hisses, batting at her.

Bandit glares at me from across the room, and she is acting pretty jealous. I don't want her to feel like she's being replaced, but her being kinda distant now is really upsetting to see.

Kitten (Who I am probably going to call Neko) is very friendly. Trying to make friends with Bandit. They're both females.

Any advice on how to ease them into each other? Stop the jealousy?
