Fellow pet owners: Why in the world are you talking to Reddit first about your pets' health concerns, when you should be talking to your vet first?

Forgive me if I sound annoyed. I just find myself a little... baffled, for lack of a better word? It's one thing, I feel, if you're asking for tips on say.... potty-training, or an idea for good treats or good ways to play with your pet.

But when something is wrong with your pet health-wise...Why does it seem like many owners
are coming to Reddit first to ask your questions instead of a qualified vet? This is a legit question, keep in mind, but it does indeed annoy me a little
