I have a kitten who was taken from his mother too soon. He was found outside my University and a friend of mine brought him to a rescue where I adopted him. He's about 9 or 10 weeks now, they just neutered him last week (I thought that seemed pretty early but the vets told me it was better that way). I got him when he was 5-6 weeks old.
I'm trying to teach him that he can't bite hard and can't scratch us. We do have an adult male cat that has taken a liking to him and seems to be helping teach him stuff. My kitten loves to nibble on faces when he's trying to cuddle. He does it with our cat too, but our cat doesn't seem to care. What other methods can I use to deter unwanted behavior other than spraying him? We tried the spray bottle, but he doesn't care about it lol. I've also been trying to ignore him when he bites my face and stuff, but so far there hasn't been much progress with that either.
