So i just closed and moved into my house 2 weeks ago and have always wanted to get my own pet having grown up with both cats and dogs i wanted to adopt either or and being i dont have a fence i went with a cat. I have had her for 1 week now and im not sure i am ready mentally to take care of an animal right now. She hides under my dresser all day unwilling to play. So every night around 1am she wakes me up by scratching me or nibbling me to try and get my attention. I have tried ignoring her when she does this and even have closed my bedroom door at nights but she just scratches and meows at the door non stop. Is it wrong of me for wanting to rehome her? I feel its not fair to her but also its not fair if im not the right fit
