I have a new kitten, and it's driven my older cat out of the house.

Just a couple of days ago I got a new kitten. We have had her for less than a week and I'm already noticing behavioral changes in my older cat. They are two girls and they don't get along very well. Recently, I've noticed my older cat rarely ever coming inside, really only to eat. Tonight and two nights ago, she hasn't slept inside. She would do this sometimes but only occasionally or she would meow to come back inside the house. This makes me really sad because we have had for almost 4 years now and I don't want her to be a completely outside cat. She has such a great personality and I'd hate to see that drift, as it already is. I'm worried that we may have to get rid of the new kitten, which would break my parents' hearts. We just recently put down our 13-year-old dog, so this cat is really important for them. Any suggestions to get our old cat to come back? Please let me know <3
