my cat is a 14 year old stinker who has a streak of peeing and pooping outside her box i understand that they are upset by that but today my dad caught her peeing so he grabbed her shoved her nose into her piss and smacked her she was yowling like he was really hurting so i come out and yell at him and he yells at me saying "what else am i supposed to do" i have never been so angry at my father or mother like that the way they so easily brushed aside what i was saying and how my cat hid from them all day...i truly don't know what to say i don't think they take me serious because i'm only 15 and they always gang up on me to make me seem like i'm wrong when really you should never lay a hand on an animal but yeah i just don't know how to talk to them after this.
