Warning: this is gross.
I’m dog sitting my friends GSP. Me and my bf took the dogs to a little spot on a river today just to get out of the house. 20 minutes in, the GSP starts rolling in the bushes. I call him out only to find his whole right front side covered in the most foul smelling, yellow, puss, greasy gloop I have ever seen. I wanted to die right then and there.. but we had to go on. He hates being forced into the water.. so this was no easy task. We picked him up and took him in to water to try to scrub whatever it was off. In the process, we both got covered in that smell, soaked, and very nauseous.
We kept him in one spot in the car, but the entire car reeks. We bathed him for an hour and a half. Three or four wash’s of deodorizing shampoo, one of conditioner, and a scented spray for afterwards. He actually doesn’t smell that bad anymore.. lucky him. I took a 20 minutes shower of just scrubbing. Then after drying, I had to take another. Then another. Now I have painfully red skin AND dead fish smelling arms.
So please, unless someone has any other ideas, refer me to the guy who will cut off my arms by request. Also, point me to the burning pit of fire so I can throw everything he touched in it.
