So my dog, a 5 year old Jack Russel terrier mix, got a stomach bug from a puppy he played with. We took him to the vet and got him anti diarrhea and some other medication for the stomach bug. That was Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday he was still obviously sick, but was getting back to normal in terms of playing, growling and eating. Today he's been eating really good. But he won't drink water.
My father has taken to using a syringe to force the water down his throat because he just won't drink.
We're taking him to the vet tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas why he won't drink, but will eat just fine?
