So I’m making this post from a very deep and tiresome place about my one particular cat. I’m putting my foot down after 3 years of coming home to cat shit on my floor (tiled at least). My partner is upset about this but I’ve spent the morning emailing around arranging a re-home for this cat. As I say, this is after literally years of deliberating the thought.. if you comment advice on how to stop my cat pooping on the tiled floor, I can guarantee Ive tried it over the past 3 years. I have literally tried everything.
I’m at the point where it’s making me depressed, coming home after a hard days work to the fresh smell of cat shit wears you down.. the other day I even stepped in it after I got home as he sometimes decides to do it on our kitchen rug. I’m done.
For people in the U.K., is there any advice you can give me on giving the re-home the best possible outcome? I reside in Yorkshire so if there are any shelters/places recommended, please let me know. Thank you!
