I am a first time cat owner; and although my parents always had cats and never had insurance; I’m wondering if I should get it for my kitten. She is perfectly healthy and has no underlying conditions. I am in my 20s so I don’t want to be paying an amount every month if I don’t need to, but I could afford it with some budgeting. I also have some savings (which I’m saving for paying off school loans) so if there was a medical emergency I would be able to pay for it. Do you think it is worth getting in my case?
