My dog, Koda, is very nice and good with kids and other dogs. He was well socialized his whole life (8 months old). The other day he got out my front door and excitedly trotted over to my neighbors dog, Bo, who was also outside. I didnt stop him because Bo is friendly and so is koda and i thought it was about time they met. After a minute of exchanging pleasantries and sniffing each other, both dogs being perfectly nice, Koda suddenly attacked Bo! I grabbed him by the collar before he caused any real damage, but now he always growls when he sees bo. I dont understand because he's so nice to every other dog! Can somebody help my explain this and maybe nip this behavior in the bud?
